About Pathways Center

Pathways Center is a nonprofit organization committed to providing high quality services to children and families affected by autism. We were founded in 2016 by an educator and a mother to a child with Autism who had experienced first hand how difficult it can be to locate extracurricular programs for children who may need special accommodation. Our goal is to change this situation, creating programs for children and facilitating coordination, in order to enrich the lives of families in our region.

We are committed to:

  • Increasing social skills for students with autism through nature activities, simple cooking classes, arts and crafts, and tutoring

  • Coordinating with therapeutic agencies to provide occupational, speech, physical and behavioral therapy

  • Utilizing strategies for working with youth with autism in after school and summer programs

  • Promoting inclusion by helping individuals with disabilities do everyday activities (Activities of Daily Living)
